1. 🏨 STAYING AT DRAGON CITY
General Rules
General Rules
Communication: We communicate exclusively through our platform.
Check-In Information: Details are in the Guest Guide and sent through our platform messaging.
Pets: Allowed only in pet-approved rooms (see pet rules below).
No Smoking/Vaping: $200 fee for violations.
Mail: Personal mail delivery to the property is not allowed.
Parties: Unapproved parties or large gatherings are prohibited.
Parking: Each room has one designated parking spot. Trailer parking requires pre-registration with vehicle details.
Children: Must be supervised at all times. No playing in parking areas.
Towel Use: Do not use room towels to clean vehicles; outdoor towels are provided for this.
Quiet Hours: Respect other guests by avoiding disruptions and staying out of other units.
Cleaning Fee: $50 for excessive messes.
Late Check-Out: $30 per hour after 10 AM. After 12:01 PM, a full night’s charge will apply.
Security: Ring doorbells/cameras monitor entrances and common areas.
Separate Entities: The hotel and restaurant operate as separate businesses.
Dragon City Pet Rules

Kenneling: Pets must be crated when left alone in the room.
Furniture: Pets are not permitted on furniture.
Leashing: Pets must be leashed at all times on property.
Relief Area: Take pets to the lower parking lot for bathroom breaks, and dispose of waste properly.

Dragon City Resort is the Gateway to the Dragon.
We are a Restaurant, Hotel, RV and Campsite for everyone.
We have a full merchandise shop with apparel, decals, signs and more!

How close are you to the Dragon?
The Restaurant is approximately 7 miles from the start of the Dragon.
We are the last Hotel and Restaurant before the dragon.
What is the Dragon?
The "Dragon" in Tennessee refers to the Tail of the Dragon, a famous 11-mile stretch of US Highway 129 with 318 intense curves along the border of Tennessee and ends in North Carolina. It is a top destination for drivers and motorcyclists.
The Gateway to the Dragon is at the world famous Dragon City in Maryville, Tn.
What time is check-in and check-out?
• Check-in: 3:00 PM
• Check-out: 10:00 AM
• Late Checkout Hours: 12:00 PM (ONLY with approval)
• Late Checkout Fee:USD 30.00
How do I make a reservation?
ButtonDragon City Resort is 100% done online. Our automated system is done on your phone, tablet or computer.
After you book, you will receive a notification of your reservation.
24 hrs before you will receive your "Check in Process" link. It is important that you do this as soon as you receive it. You will be asked to verify your information (License, Credit Card, License plate etc)
At 3pm on the day of your arrival, you will receive your room number and your door code to get it.
It is all automated.
What is your cancellation policy?
To ensure fairness and operational efficiency, the following cancellation terms apply to all individual reservations:
Cancellations made more than 5 days prior to check-in:
A 5% cancellation fee will be applied to the total reservation amount.
Cancellations made within 5 days of check-in (but more than 48 hours prior):
A 25% cancellation fee will be applied to the total reservation amount.
Cancellations made within 48 hours of check-in:
No refunds will be issued. The full reservation amount will be charged.
No-shows:
Guests who fail to arrive on their scheduled check-in date without prior notice will be considered a no-show and will be charged 100% of the reservation total.
Early departures:
No refunds or credits will be issued for early check-outs or unused nights.

2. 🏍️ MOTORCYCLES/CARS & THE DRAGON
What is Parking like?
One Vehicle Per Room/Site: Each room or site is allotted one parking space. Additional vehicles require prior approval and may incur a fee.
Permit Display: Parking permits (if applicable) must be visible on your vehicle dashboard.
RVs, Trailers & Oversized Vehicles
Required Overfill Parking: RVs, trailers, and oversized vehicles must park in the Overfill Parking Lot on 72. Prior registration is necessary as space is limited.
Vehicle Information & Safety
Registration: Provide vehicle make, model, and license plate information during check-in or pre-registration.
Speed Limit: 5 MPH within the campground. Drive cautiously, watching for pedestrians and wildlife.
No Unattended Vehicles: Do not leave vehicles unattended for over 24 hours without prior approval. Unattended vehicles may be towed at the owner’s expense.
No Vehicle Maintenance: Vehicle repairs, maintenance, or cleaning are prohibited on the property.
Towing & Fines
Unauthorized Parking: Vehicles parked in fire lanes, unauthorized spaces, or without permits will be towed at the owner's expense.
Visitor & Special Accommodations
Visitor Registration: Guests must register visitor vehicles during registration.
Special Requests: Contact us prior to arrival for accessible parking or other special needs.
Is Dragon City a good place to stay while riding the Dragon?
If you are looking for a place close to the Dragon, Dragon City Resort is the "Last Resort" before the Dragon.

Do you have accommodations for motorcycle groups?
Yes.
Our hotel has concrete parking right to the door for our motorcycle guest.
Our Restaurant has up front parking for our motorcycle patrons. But come early, it fills up quick!
Do you have information about local riding routes?
Dragon City Resort is the last stop to get your Freeman Map.

How close is the nearest fuel?
Fast Lap Market & Deli, 2972 Calderwood Hwy, Maryville, TN 37801
Its 3.6 miles from Dragon City and offers Fuel and Beer. It is the last fuel before the Dragon.
3. ⛺ CAMPGING and RVs
What types of camping do you offer?
Spacious, back-to-nature tent area, hammock and vehicle camping (tent not provided)

Folklore Campground offers a raw and refreshing way to stay close to the action without missing the magic of the wild.
Do your campsites have electrical hookups?
No.
The camp sites are premitive. No Electricity. There is access to the outdoor shower and bathroom.
Are campers allowed to bring pets?
Yes, but you must keep your pet on a leash at all times. Due to being in the National Park, there is wildlife that could harm your animal.

Yes.
RV sites have water, electric and drainage hookups.
6. 🐕 PETS
What are the rules for pets?

What type of pets are allowed?
Small dogs under 50lbs. Must be house broken and have all shots.
Cats are NOT allowed.
How do I get a pet pass?
ButtonYou can get a pet pass here, but you still need to get a verbal approval for your furry friend.
Are pets allowed in all rooms?
NO.
Only certain rooms are pet friendly. Please verify that you are selecting a pet friendly room before booking. Due to other guests, proper coverings need to be put in the room prior to arrival, so you MUST get a verbal approval, purchase a pet pass and register your pet.
